Founded in 1996, Mariachi México Madeira was born from a love of Mexican music and the desire to bring that tradition to the island of Madeira. Over more than 30 years, we have become the reference group for weddings, festivals, concerts, serenades and sung masses.
With deep roots in the Madeiran community, we have represented Portugal at the International Mariachi Meeting in Guadalajara, Mexico, and brought our culture to the Azores as well. Every performance is guided by respect for charro tradition and the joy of sharing live music.

Jorge Luís Garcia founded the group in 1996 and leads Mariachi México Madeira as maestro. With decades of experience, he guides the repertoire, musical formation and artistic identity of the group, ensuring authentic and moving performances at every event.
